Someone Managed To Turn An Arrow In Baldur’s Gate 3 Into A God-Slaying Weapon Thanks To Their Build

🚨 Ever wondered if a single arrow could topple a god in Baldur’s Gate 3? One player’s build just proved it—turning a humble shaft into divine doom.

From the shadows of FaerĂ»n, a Reddit legend stacked feats, gloves, and godly synergies on an Arrow of Humanoid Slaying, unleashing damage rolls that’d make the Absolute flinch. We’re talking crits exploding into oblivion, enough to vaporize elder evils before they blink… but the real magic? It’s replicable, if you’ve got the guts to min-max like a mad archmage. Is your Tav ready to ascend—or get arrowed into legend? The gods are watching.

Nock your arrow and steal this build:

Ever felt like you’re playing Baldur’s Gate 3 wrong? You’re not alone. While many of us manage to bring out Tav and companions up to a respectable level with the best possible gear, subclassing, and sticking to the strongest attack, there are those who turn them into literal gods by exploiting each and every mechanic in the game.

While we’re busy spamming Eldritch blast at enemies, these geniuses dedicate themselves to finding and equipping very specific gear, choosing a carefully planned subclass path, and leveraging prep time in a way that Batman could only dream of. To that extent, one player has managed to turn an arrow into a missile that can kill even a god.

It’s not too hard to create a powerful build with a little bit of research. However, one player’s post on the Baldur’s Gate 3 subreddit made others feel like absolute (heh) amateurs. Strong_Buyer_114’s post featured an Arrow of Humanoid Slaying, which, as the name suggests, does double damage to humanoids. However, it was the additional damage rolls that turned it into a weapon of mass destruction.

The weapon card featured 16 additional damage rolls, and didn’t even show the 1d6 Necrotic Damage from their dagger. A critical hit with this arrow would undoubtedly one-shot most enemies in the game, or at least take a huge bite out of their health bar. Of course, this made more casual players feel like they’ve been playing the game wrong.

“We are not playing the same game, I feel like an idiot looking at this sub most of the time,” said one player. “I feel like such an imbecile playing this game when I see damage output like that,” said another. While the game allows you to create absolutely broken combos like this, the good news is that you’re not actually required to do so. Baldur’s Gate 3 is well-balanced for players unfamiliar with Dungeons & Dragons rules.

Even OP mentioned that this build is absolutely overkill, even for an Honour Mode run, so you don’t have to worry about min-maxing to be able to enjoy the game. If Eldritch Blast works fine for you, blast away.
