🔥 Steam’s New Freebie: ‘This Game Cooks’! 🚀

Get ready to pilot giant mechs in the newest free game that’s turning heads on Steam! 🤖 Fans are absolutely raving about it. The action is intense, the mechanics are smooth, and the thrill is real. 🛠️💥

Ever dream of controlling a mech in epic battles? Now’s your chance. 🏆 With fast-paced combat, strategic gameplay, and stunning visuals, this game delivers everything you’ve wanted in a mecha adventure and more.

If you’re a fan of mech-heavy franchises like Titanfall and Armored Core, you may get a kick out of a new free shooter that’s landed on Steam.

Developed and published by Amazing Seasun Games, Mecha BREAK is a brand new multiplayer third-person shooter that offers three game modes where players can suit up and neutralise enemies by piloting their Striker.

“After the Catastrophe, humanity harnessed the power of Corite—a mysterious carbon-silicon mineral, driving rapid recovery. But its fatally pathogenic nature and relentless spread threaten to consume Earth’s last habitable spaces within decades,” the synopsis reads.

“Should humankind resist? Adapt? Escape? Or follow Corite’s call and forge a new path?

Unveil the secrets of Corite and safeguard the future! Join S.H.A.D.O.W., and deploy your BREAK Strikers now!”

You’ll be able to select your Striker class, choosing from attackers, brawlers, snipers, defenders, and support models.

As for those various game modes, well, there’s Ace Arena, Operation VERGE, and Operation STORM.

Ace Arena consists of 3v3 battles, while Operation VERGE ups the ante to 6v6.

Operation STORM is the destination for those craving PvPvE gameplay.

This one landed on Steam earlier this month, on 2 July to be exact, and is totally free-to-play.

Of course, free-to-play titles more often than not come with the caveat that they contain microtransactions.

Mecha BREAK certainly does, so do keep that in mind. You can play without having to spend a penny though.

The game has received mixed reviews to date.

“A touch of hero shooter, a splash of Armored Core, and a whole lot of fun. This game cooks,” wrote one Steam user.

“Super fast paced and balanced combat. Really scratches that itched I had after AC6. Mech designs are cool and unique loadout wise. Don’t think there’s a single mech I’ve actively hated playing,” added another.

“The shop’s predatory and the grind is criminal,” said one player, despite rating the game 9/10.

“This game isn’t bad, don’t get me wrong. It has a very solid core gameplay and the mechs feel very distinct, powerful, and impactful to play as. Sadly I cannot really recommend it in its current state on release. Despite the handful of betas the balance seems to be all over the place,” read a negative review.

You can see why it’s sitting at mixed.

Given that Mecha BREAK is free, I’d say give it a shot; as always with these kinds of titles, all you’ve got to lose is a snippet of time.
