The Lincoln Lawyer season 4 has finally wrapped filming, offering fans exciting behind-the-scenes photos. After three seasons, Netflix’s legal drama has become a fan-favorite show, with fans regularly asking when the next season will come out. Casting updates about The Lincoln Lawyer has only increased eagerness.

Luckily, on June 19, co-showrunners Dailyn Rodriguez and Ted Humphrew took to Instagram to confirm that The Lincoln Lawyer season 4 has officially wrapped filming, taking one step closer to audiences watching the next chapter of Mickey Haller’s story.

The photo shows a picture of The Lincoln Lawyer‘s poster with a celebration and confetti emoji, plus the words, “Congrats! The Lincoln Lawyer on the offical season wrap!” Ted Humphrey’s Instagram post had the same picture with the message: “Thank you to our incredible cast, crew and production team for a fantastic season 4! We can’t wait to bring it to everyone very soon!” Although neither of them provided behind-the-scenes photos, a new cast member of The Lincoln Lawyer, Constance Zimmer, provided small glimpses at what’s to come.

The fun but narratively insignificant behind-the-scenes photos show her mimicking Manuel Garcia-Rulfo’s The Lincoln Lawyer poster photos, Garcia-Rulfo playing ping-pong, the hair and makeup team, and the door of her dressing room. However, three photos do show the courtroom that she and Mickey will fight in during The Lincoln Lawyer season 4. Additionally, her post provides the first glimpse at Scott Lawrence as Judge Stone, a judge on Mickey Haller’s case.

There has been a lot of nervous energy around The Lincoln Lawyer season 4 because it hasn’t appeared on any of Netflix’s lists of upcoming 2025 shows. Initially, it was expected to come out in early 2026, making fans wait a year and a half between seasons. However, the news that The Lincoln Lawyer season 4 has wrapped hints that fans might get the show earlier than expected. While there’s no release date, Ted Humphreys promised it “very soon.” While that’s a relative term, over half a year doesn’t seem to fit that definition.

Plus, the last seasons 2 and 3 of The Lincoln Lawyer had only 4 and 3 months, respectively, between filming wrapping and the release of the season. As such, the best estimate of The Lincoln Lawyer season 4’s release date is either September or October 2025. Even if it takes a little longer than that, it should still come before the end of the year, unless they delay the release for some unexpected reason.

Additionally, it’s good that The Lincoln Lawyer season 4 will most likely come out in 2025 because that means it won’t lose momentum, and fans won’t be left waiting for a long time to see what’s next for Mickey Haller.
