The Witcher 3 Hits 10 Years with a Bold New Release Announcement—Is CD Projekt Red Finally Delivering Justice or Milking a Tired Franchise?

The Witcher 3 celebrating 10th anniversary with major new release

Want to celebrate The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s 10th anniversary in style? Well, you can.

Before you get ahead of yourself, that won’t be with the launch of The Witcher IV.

It is CD Projekt RED’s next title but the game remains in deep development with a launch window yet to be confirmed.

What has been announced though is The Witcher in Concert, which is exactly what it sounds like.

These sorts of soundtrack tours have majorly grown in popularity in recent years and it’s easy to see why.

It’s pure magic hearing your favourite game soundtrack brought to life by a full orchestra.

Of course, the music is the main draw, but The Witcher in Concert will also treat attendees to “cutting-edge visuals and gameplay” in order to help bring the game to life.

The tour will also welcome special guests Percival, co-composers of the soundtrack.

Tickets are already on sale for the first batch of concerts, dates and availability of which I’ll detail below.

All information is correct at the time of writing. You can find up to date availability on the tour’s website.

12 May: Warsaw, Poland – Invite only
31 May: Boston, MA, USA – Tickets coming soon
15 June: Poznań, Poland – Tickets coming soon

It’s perhaps worth pointing out that the Cologne concert falls during Gamescom, so I have a feeling that’ll be a particularly electric night.

As you can see, dates are selling out so I’d nab tickets sooner rather than later.
