The Witcher 4 reveals system requirements, leaving gamers stunned as even the best graphics cards fall short

The Witcher 4 true next-gen graphics teased in new trailer

The Witcher community can expect to be wowed by next-gen graphics in The Witcher 4.

Some may argue that such fidelity is to be expected of CD Projekt Red’s upcoming title, given its estimated launch window.

Even though we’ve yet to learn of the specific release date for The Witcher 4, we anticipate the game won’t be released for several years yet.

It stands to reason, then, that we’ll experience Ciri’s adventure on the new generation of consoles we keep daydreaming about. Or so the theory goes.

Even if that’s not to be the case, we can still expect true next-gen clarity, as teased by NVIDIA.

In a blog post by the brand, the team remarks on its close relationship with CD Projekt Red and the development of the The Witcher 3 sequel.

What’s mentioned is brief, yet it says everything gamers need to put their minds at ease.

The blog post reads, “NVIDIA has been working with CD Projekt Red since the beginning of the game’s development, and once it’s ready to ship, The Witcher 4 will launch with the latest RTX-powered technologies.”

NVIDIA also shared The Witcher 4’s cinematic trailer after its big Game Awards reveal, much to the delight of fans.

This is because said trailer was rendered using RTX 5090, as confirmed by NVIDIA.

“DLSS5 with 5090 will rock,” remarked YouTube user @pastuh.

Another said, “The fact there’s a good possibility this could release when the 60 Series is a thing is pretty interesting to think about.”

Its open-world map and new monsters are sure to be a wonder to behold and explore upon its release.

What a shame we have to wait such a long time to experience it.

As if Lady Luck sensed our dismay, a new Geralt adventure is due to be released later this year.

We will be fed well this year, dear reader, even if it isn’t because of The Witcher 4.
