DC fans feel that if things keep going the way they are within the studio, then there is a chance it might hinder the legacy of Batman and Justice League. The studio has tainted the latter’s image by releasing an extremely awful game that failed to do anything significant.

Warner Bros. has been holding back after it incurred a massive loss of $200 million. This loss forced it to close 3 of its major studios, including Player First Games, Warner Bros. Games San Diego, and Monolith Productions, to level things out and move towards a profitable future.
It even canned the upcoming Wonder Woman game, which was supposed to be the next big thing from DC. Monolith Productions had already begun working on this game, and there was a lot of hype and excitement riding behind it. The news of it being shut down was a blow to DC fans.
However, it seems to be focusing on improving its DEI policies, which also seems like a facade to hide its corrupt hiring process, which goes against the very thing that is being widely advocated.
Warner Bros. doubles down on DEI, changes name to “Inclusion” to try to rebrand.
The makers of Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League has learned nothing, even after a 200M loss and being forced to close many studios due to poor sales.

I guess that means we’ll get more of this in the next Rocksteady game.

They will continue to find out that people are sick of this crap and are tuning out. They will correct or go bankrupt.

Fans can pretty easily see through the translucent intentions of the studio. However, in its journey to cover up the massive loss, it might end up leaving a trail of mistakes that might leave a deep mark, tainting the legacy of franchises like Batman and Justice League.

Instead of going down the route of shutting everything down, Warner Bros. should sit back a moment, take a deep breath, and think wisely into the direction of what might truly be in the best interest of the company and its products.
Warner Bros. holds a lot of significance in the market, and it is high time it starts acting like it cares about the people who consume its content. The studio dabbles in a lot of things, from comics to movies to games, but has not been doing a great job at managing them all together.
Canceling the Wonder Woman game sparks serious concerns over the future of things from the DC universe, since if the most popular characters are not able to get a game, then how could one expect it to expand? Are you worried about DC’s legacy? Let us know in the comments below.
