The Fallout franchise is just one of many games that task players with surviving in a post-apocalyptic setting filled with untold horrors and a whole lot of limited resources.

However, the need to survive is built into us all and this upcoming post-apocalyptic survival game is about to tide us over until the release of Fallout 5.

Developed by CastilvaGames, Harbor is free to check out right now courtesy of Steam.

“In Harbor, your sole purpose is to survive,” the official synopsis reads.

“You need to access limited resources and protect everything you have. You will not only face hunger and thirst! You can form alliances with others, build shelters, and trade. There are no rules; the only safe zone is Harbor.”

By using the environment around you to your advantage, you will have to transform the items around you into weapons, tools, clothing, and other essential items.

However, “the most critical things in the game are Clean Blood and Fuel.”

Going to the Harbor safe zone will see you able to pick up missions, and trade resources but if you wish to get your hands on more valuable resources, you will have to hop in a vehicle and chase after the War Truck and Train.

Yep, Mad Max style.

With death meaning you lose everything you’ve worked for, you will have to build shelters and defend your territory.

“The only thing left to do is trust no one and just survive. Everything is out to see you dead.”
