Elden Ring Nightreign needs to bring back this one familiar face in order to win players over.
Elden Ring Nightreign is FromSoftware’s latest upcoming project that everyone is excited about, primarily because it’s based on the same foundations as the original game that came out back in 2022. The game brings back a new version of The Lands Between, old bosses, including ones from the Dark Souls trilogy, and hopefully an NPC every player wishes to see once again.

Iron Fist Alexander is one of the few friendly faces the player gets to see in the game. However, towards the end, he more often than not meets his demise in one way or another, and players wish nothing but to see him appear once again in the upcoming title.
Elden Ring Nightreign: How FromSoftware can bring back Iron Fist Alexander
Iron Fist Alexander needs to make a return in Elden Ring Nightreign | FromSoftware
As we have seen with this project, FromSoftware can bend the storyline and the very foundation of the original Elden Ring according to the studio’s will. Nonetheless, there remains a very plausible way for Iron Fist Alexander to make a way back, even if the studio wanted to keep his return lore accurate.
In Elden Ring Nightreign, players get to play as nightfarers, who are essentially warriors of the Roundtable Hold who use spectral powers to make their way through the unique Land of Limveld. These nightfarers could ultimately be tied to necromantic or soul-binding magic, which goes hand-in-hand with the pre-existing themes of life, death, and rebirth seen in the franchise.
The final step in bringing back Alexander would require us to assume that these nightfarers know to bring back souls from the dead, which sounds absurd at first, but remember, nothing’s impossible when it’s Elden Ring. The process could potentially involve discovering the dark rites that would reveal how to bring back warriors from the dead.
Elden Ring Nightreign brings back a lot from the past
The upcoming game borrows a lot of elements from the past | FromSoftware
Built on the same pillars as FromSoftware’s most successful franchise yet, Elden Ring Nightreign happens to be more than just another usual co-op game.
Not only does it take assets from the base game but is ultimately a culmination of other Souls games as well, bringing back the long-forgotten but not forgiven bosses from the Dark Souls trilogy.
However, one of the main concerns for the players should be none other than Margit, the Fell Omen, infamous for ambushing the tarnished player at any given moment in Elden Ring. He is now making a return in the upcoming title as well, which makes us believe that it can happen for Iron Fist Alexander as well.
