The worlds of The Legend of Zelda and Valheim collide in this wonderful new open-world adventure.

It’s not often that I hear a game can be described as a combination of Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda series and the popular MMORPG Valheim, but here we are.

Since its inception in 1986 on the NES, The Legend of Zelda series is one of the most beloved properties in the video game industry, entertaining millions of fans across multiple generations.

As for Valheim, despite being an RPG adventure game, it’s a very different experience to The Legend of Zelda series, not least of all because it’s a multiplayer survival game.

That being said, if we were told of a game that blends the worlds of The Legend of Zelda and Valheim, it might just be worth our consideration. That very game could be the upcoming multiplayer RPG developed by the “five-man indie team” at Nordic Trolls, Under a Rock.

“A procedural open-world survival craft game for one to 10 players. Explore a mysterious and colourful island populated by exotic creatures, oversized wildlife and curious natives,” reads the description of the game on Steam. “Unveil its secrets, build your base, survive hostile environments and dangerous nights.”

Valheim is one of the most popular MMORPGs in recent years, and for good reason; it’s a fun game. However, it might be a bit serious for some, which is where Under a Rock might come into play, judging by its colourful and charming visuals.
