Alongside concerns over the lack of second trailer and even bigger concerns thatĀ Grand Theft Auto VIĀ may be delayed at the last moment, some fans have expressed another worry they have in recent days.
Confirmed byĀ Take-Two InteractiveĀ earlier this year,Ā Grand Theft Auto VIĀ is still scheduled for a Fall 2025 release which means that there are just six months to go before we hit that highly-anticipated release window.
As the firstĀ Grand Theft AutoĀ instalment in over a decade, it is safe to say that theĀ RockstarĀ title has become the most anticipated video game of all time.
However, that has not stopped fans from expressing some concerns when it comes to both its gameplay and its graphics.
Shared to r/GTA6 over the weekend, one fan said theĀ following:
āSomething I think about is how Rockstar will handle the combination of large crowds of people with extremely realistic graphics.
The graphics inĀ Red Dead Redemption 2Ā are still great to this day, and the optimization is also impressive, butĀ RDR2Ā had it easier because a large part of the map was just empty terrain (I mean forests, etc.).
Now, with the map ofĀ GTA VI, where at least half of it will be city or cities, Iām worried that no current console will be able to handle so many things at once.ā
To hammer home their point, they provided two images: one taken from theĀ GTA VIĀ trailer which shows a bustling beach, and the second fromĀ Grand Theft Auto Vās in-game and quite empty looking beach.
However, with over 1,000 comments racked up across three days, it is safe to say that fellow fans had their own thoughts over this concern.
The top comment by user SaturnVFanĀ read: āGTA 5Ā was released on an Xbox 360.
This release will be on Xbox Series S at minimum. I think there will be a big difference but it will probably be a bit less than the trailer.ā
Another userĀ added: āIt will, because Rockstar Games are genius as to how they push the capabilities of the consoles to their full limits.ā
It remains to be seen if their worries will be placated, but for now, all we can do is wait for the second official trailer ahead ofĀ GTA VIās full release later this year.
