According to Fiona, who was killed by Daryl in self-defense in the final scenes, the United Kingdom hasn’t been affected much by the zombie apocalypse.

Daryl and Carol were left stranded in France without a plane or ship to take them back to the US when they met the Scottish couple, Fiona and Angus.
