Throughout his career in country music, Jelly Roll never tried to hide his past. Having several problems with law enforcement, the singer even watched his life hit rock bottom when he found himself in jail. Wanting to turn his life around, Jelly Roll now stands on top of country music and is worth $12 million. Showcasing that any person can change their life around, the star continues to spread love and positivity. And recently, Jelly Roll explained how he wanted Eminem and Machine Gun Kelly to end their ongoing feud.
Appearing on Andrew Schulz’s Flagrant podcast, Jelly Roll explained his love for MGK and Eminem. And although both criticized each other over the years, the country star promised, “My heart is always to bring them together one day. I see so much more of them in each other than they know.”

While Jelly Roll is in a position to bring the rappers together, given he is friends with both, he shared his hesitation due to him and Eminem getting to know each other. “I’m just still kinda glad that I’m in that circumference to be able to have them conversations.”

Jelly Roll Ready To Use His Fame To Help Others
As for Jelly Roll’s friendship with MGK, he revealed that they both grew up idolizing Eminem. And the idea of gaining a mention in one of the rapper’s songs was special to Jelly Roll. “If you got mentioned in an Eminem song, it was like getting mentioned in a comedy special. You couldn’t be hotter if you got mentioned in an Eminem [song].”
The idea of MGK and Eminem finding common ground might not be far off as the rapper admitted to wanting to embrace a more positive outlook moving forward when he released his song “Guilty Conscience 2.”
With the future between Eminem and MGK still an unknown, Jelly Roll never took a single moment in the spotlight for granted. Back in 2023, he focused on his past and how far he had come, telling Billboard while at the Whitsitt Chapel, “I got baptized in here some 20 years ago and have since done nothing but go to prison, treat a bunch of people wrong, make a lot of mistakes in life, turn it around, [then] go on to be a f–king multimillionaire and help as many people as I possibly can.”
