Harry Potter is still on the of the biggest IPs on the planet years after the books and films concluded and it’s with that in mind that more LEGO sets are on the way.
The books and films may be complete but there’s a new reboot in town that will retell Harry Potter’s story in the coming yeats through a HBO Max series.
That’s not all fans will be able to digest though.
In addition to the series, you’ll be able to build more of the Wizarding World at home with new LEGO sets coming out in 2025.
Apparently 14 sets are expected to be released next year, all ranging in size and price, of course. Smaller sets include Hagrid’s motorcycle and the Hogwarts duelling platform, whereas larger sets include Malfoy Manor and the main tower in Hogwarts.
There are plenty of other sets covering some of the most famous scenes in the franchise and they’ll all be released at various times throughout the year, so if you’re into your LEGO, keep a look out for them.
Personally, I’m not a big enough Harry Potter fan to want the LEGO sets, but I would like to see another LEGO Harry Potter game.
LEGO games have gone above and beyond to innovate their own formula over the years and now that we’ve seen what some of the open-world games can look like and be capable of, it’d be great to see an expanded Harry Potter game that lets you roam Hogwarts and other areas.
Think Hogwarts Legacy but in LEGO format, that’s the type of game I’d be looking for if it’s on the cards.
It’d be a solid game to release while we wait for Hogwarts Legacy 2 as well, which is confirmed to be coming out but not for a while yet.
There’s a lot to look forward to in 2025 if you’re a Harry Potter fan, so stay tuned for more details.
