Shawnee Pourier plays Two Moons, a young Shoshone girl. After her tongue is cut out, she escapes her village and makes runs into Sara and Devin. (Spoiler alert) she becomes friends with Devin, joins their group, and eventually saves Devin’s leg from infection.

The actress is legit only 20

Shawnee grew up as part of the Native American Oglala Lakota tribe in South Doakota. She went to school in New Mexico. She’s bilingual and can speak Lakota.

She’s also acted in the historical crime drama Dark Winds, and two short films.

Shawnee has a girlfriend called Izzabella. They’ve been in a relationship for about a year and a half and are super cute together.

Shawnee Pourier’s character in Stranger Things is so different to her character in American Primeval that I nearly didn’t recognise her. So, she plays one of Will Byers’s classmates in season four of Stranger Things. Her character flirts with Will shamelessly and achieves the dreams of many fangirls by rubbing her foot against Noah Schnapp’s leg.

She does work for a quilt company

Shawnee is all over the website of 3feathers, a company which sells traditional Oglala Lakota star quilts.
