‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ has seen the return of many characters from Fox’s X-Men franchise, in fact, it’s those cameos that made the movie a true hit that’s currently breaking various box-office records.

One of the most anticipated cameos in the movie was the one from Dafne Keen as she returned to reprise her role as Laura aka X-23 from ‘Logan,’ released in 2017. Don’t miss:

Now we know that Feige teased that the mutant era begins in the MCU with the release of ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ and fans like Keen’s portrayal of X-23, with a large number of fans proposing that she takes over the role of MCU’s main Wolverine.

At the Saturn Awards, Dafne Keen talked about her hopes for returning as X-23 in the MCU. While celebrating ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’s’ award wins, she shared that she’d love to see her character in both smaller, personal stories and an exciting team-up with the Avengers.

I would like to see her in a fun team-up. I would also love to see Laura in smaller stories as well. I enjoyed playing her in Logan, which was much more grittier. So that’s fun…But I’d also be very, very open to a big whole action fight team up with the Avengers.

Dafne Keen addressed fans’ hopes that she could take over as Wolverine in the MCU after Avengers: Secret Wars. While she didn’t confirm anything, she said she’d be “really happy” to return—but only if Hugh Jackman’s Logan was part of it too.

Fans have speculated that ‘Secret Wars’ could reset the MCU, opening the door for a new Wolverine, but Keen made it clear that she still wants Jackman involved in some way.

Well, can we both [Laura and Logan] be there? Yeah? OK, good. If we’re both there, I’d be really happy.
