Luigi Mangione will be housed in the same Brooklyn jail as Sean “Diddy” Combs — and the two even have the same lawyer.

Mangione, the accused killer of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, arrived in New York to be arraigned on federal murder charges that could land him the death penalty.

He has now been remanded into federal custody, and will be housed at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, per CNN and ABC News. That’s the same lockup where Combs, the founder of Bad Boy Records, has been held since his September arrest on sex trafficking charges.

The two not only are sharing a residence for the time being — they’re also sharing legal representation.

Marc Agnifilo, who is representing the hip hop mogul, appeared in federal court in Manhattan with his wife, Karen Friedman Agnifilo, on Thursday to inform Judge Katharine Parker that they will represent Mangione in his defense against the federal charges.

He also faces first and second-degree murder charges in New York State, where he’s accused of committing an act of terrorism. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg said Thursday the state prosecution will run “parallel” with the federal one, while the Justice Department said in a press release that the state prosecution is expected to go to trial before the federal one.

Mangione is further charged with weapons and forgery raps in Pennsylvania, where he was apprehended after a five-day manhunt. He has pleaded not guilty to the Pennsylvania charges, and has not yet entered a plea in New York.

In a brief statement to reporters outside the courthouse Thursday, Friedman Agnifilo declined to comment on the charges but said Mangione “appreciates everyone’s support.”
