A genuine Hollywood celebrity was spotted among the crowd at Daytona Bike Week 2025 when “Matrix” star Keanu Reeves stopped on Friday at the Starbucks just east of Daytona International Speedway.

“Look who stopped by the Starbucks on ISB while enjoying the Bike Week festivities at Daytona International Speedway!” exclaimed a post on the Bike Week Daytona Beach Facebook page. “Welcome Keanu Reeves!!”

The post included a selfie of the actor with the store’s manager, Lexie Zemball.

Reeves, of course, is famous for starring in a long string of hit movies that include “Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure” (1989), “Speed” (1994) and “The Matrix” (1999) as well as that film’s sequels “The Matrix Reloaded” and “The Matrix Revolutions.”

For all that, Reeves initially wasn’t even recognized in the line with other customers at the Starbucks at 3188 W. International Speedway Blvd. In the picture, he looks windblown with a salt-and-pepper beard and heavy motorcycle jacket and scarf.

It’s unclear whether he rode a motorcycle to the coffee shop.

“No one knew it was him, when he walked in,” said Devin Kuhn, a shift manager at the shop who was working when the star arrived. “I was the one who let everybody know.”

Reeves ordered a venti latte and was gracious with fans, Kuhn said.

Reeves isn’t the only celebrity to be spotted at Bike Week. On Friday, Captain Lee Rosbach, star of Bravo’s reality series “Below Deck,” was also was spotted at Bike Week.

What was Keanu Reeves doing at Daytona Bike Week 2025?

Reeves wasn’t just people-watching at Bike Week.

Instead, he was busy with weekend races at Daytona International Speedway, as part of the team with ARCH Motorcycle Company, a custom production motorcycle manufacturer founded by the actor and his business partner Gard Hollinger in 2011.

Some who posted comments on the Daytona Bike Week thread reported Keanu sightings at the track, occasionally supported by photos of the actor at work on motorcycles in the track garages.

ARCH motorcycles are described as “American performance cruisers,” according to company promotional materials, a bike created in typical American motorcycle style with the comfort and range of a cruiser but closer in performance and handling to a sports bike.
