CRIMSON DESERT OR ASSASSIN’S CREED? YOU DECIDE! 🦅🗡️
I don’t even know what game I’m playing anymore, but the drip in Pywel just hit a whole new level. I’ve found the exact armor pieces and dye combinations to turn Cliff into a full-blown Master Assassin.
We’re talking about a secret pair of “Hidden Blade” gloves tucked away in a grain storage building outside Deonus, and a “trust-glitch” in Paloon that lets you skip hours of questing to get the iconic Greywolf Leather set. Combine that with a Gothic-style Tariff Cloth Cloak from a town lit with red lights, and you are ready for some serious “Leap of Faith” action. I’ve even mapped out the exact metallic dyes to make your blades pop. If you want to look this iconic while liberating forts, you need to grab these pieces before everyone else does. 🔥 WATCH THE ASSASSIN’S CREED ARMOR GUIDE

Is this the world of Pywel, or have we stepped into the Animus? A viral armor guide has taken the Crimson Desert community by storm, showing players how to transform the protagonist, Cliff, into a spitting image of a Master Assassin from the Assassin’s Creed franchise.
The “Assassin” set isn’t a pre-made outfit but a clever combination of specific gear pieces, dyes, and “trust-grinding” that has players scouring the map from the city of Deonus to the snowy peaks of Paloon.
The “Hidden Blade” Discovery
The most essential piece of the look is the Crimson Chaser Chain Gloves. Located in a grain storage building just outside the main gates of Deonus, these gloves feature a metallic design that perfectly mimics the iconic hidden blades of the Creed.
“You have to do a bit of platforming—maybe a double jump followed by a Force Palm glide—just to reach the second-floor window where the chest is hidden,” says Arekkz Gaming, the source of the discovery. “But once you have them, they are end-game viable. I’m putting them in my main set immediately.”
The Paloon “Trust” Shortcut
To complete the torso and legs, players are heading to the tailor shop in the lower section of Paloon. While the Greywolf Leather Armor is usually locked behind a long questline and a boss fight, savvy players have found a shortcut: bribery.
By gifting “Copper Money Bags” and books to the tailor to reach 100% trust, the Greywolf set becomes available for purchase instantly. The leather texture of this set is highly customizable, allowing for the white-and-red aesthetic that defined the early Assassin’s Creed titles.
The Gothic Cloak of Tariff
No Assassin is complete without a hood. For this, players are venturing north to a town near the Frost Spire to purchase the Tariff Cloth Cloak. The town itself—described as “Gothic with red lights everywhere”—is home to a tailor who sells the cloak for a mere nine silver. Crucially, this piece doesn’t include a helmet, allowing Cliff’s hood-up look to remain unobstructed.
The Art of the Dye: Metallic White and Crimson
The final touch requires a sophisticated use of the game’s dye system. To achieve the “Master Assassin” look, players are layering metallic white dyes on the leather surfaces and a specific off-white on the red trims of the Tariff cloak to preserve the fabric’s detail.
The community has been particularly impressed with the “material swap” feature, which allows players to make the “blades” on the Crimson Chaser gloves look brighter and more reflective than the rest of the metal, creating a high-contrast, deadly aesthetic.
A New Standard for Customization
The fact that players can recreate such an iconic look using standard in-game assets is a testament to the depth of Crimson Desert’s customization engine. While Pearl Abyss has been quiet about official crossovers, the community is already doing the work for them.
As more players upload footage of Cliff performing parkour and “air assassinations” across the rooftops of Deonus, it’s clear that Crimson Desert is offering far more than just a typical RPG experience. In Pywel, you aren’t just a mercenary—you are whoever you have the “drip” to be.
