There is no denying that Keanu Reeves’ Johnny Silverhand is one of the highlights of Cyberpunk 2077 which is why this hidden feature may just surprise some of his biggest fans.
Cyberpunk 2077 may have been out for over four years now but that has not stopped its developers from regularly reminding fans that the RPG is still full of hidden secrets, features and Easter eggs which are yet to be discovered.
With games such as The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim still surprising fans well over a decade on from its release, it seems as though CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077 is set to follow suit.
That is why it has come to nobody’s surprise that yet another player has stumbled across a unique feature that many fans still don’t know about.
Of course, it relates to none other than Johnny Silverhand himself.
“Just a friendly reminder that you can change Johnny’s appearance in the settings,” one user shared over on r/cyberpunkgame.
Yep, colour me shocked too.
By heading into Cyberpunk 2077’s gameplay settings and scrolling down to Additional Content, players can switch between Johnny’s standard appearance and the Alternate option.
This hidden feature makes Silverhand look quite the bit different, especially as it gets rid of his long, rockerboy hair in favour of a loose mohawk style.
Instead of his bulletproof vest, he now sports an open suit jacket alongside a pair of matching pants as opposed to his standard leather trousers.
It is a stark difference and Johnny fans took to the comments to share their thoughts on his new look.
“I mean he looks okay in that outfit, but it doesn’t scream “Bomb ‘saka Tower again”, so I will stick with the original outfit,” one user said.
Another added: “Alternate Johnny looks too much like an obnoxious f**kboy, I can’t take him seriously.”
Well, at least the option is there!
