Henry Cavill revealed that he wasted hours in The Witcher 3 because he kept repeating the same mistakes.

Although The Witcher 3 is nearly a decade old, the action RPG has maintained its relevance to date. Still considered to be one of the best open-world titles out there, the CD Projekt game has a famously devoted fanbase that simply can’t get enough of the title.

The Witcher 3 is a lot of things, but easy isn’t one of them. As well as a somewhat complicated battle system that integrates magic and physical attacks, the game features a variety of enemies and situations that can bring unique challenges and problems. Even Henry Cavill can’t get around the game’s difficulty levels!

It’s no secret that Henry Cavill absolutely adores The Witcher series. He has read all the books out there, played the games, and starred as Geralt in Netflix’s live-action series for three seasons before being replaced by Liam Hemsworth following his departure.
Cavill’s admiration for the series started off when he first experienced CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher 3, which is often regarded as one of the best games of all time. In an interview, he revealed that he had played the game a number of times, becoming a bit of an expert on the story and lore. However, his playthroughs weren’t trouble-free.
I realised I wasn’t chilling out. I just ended up dying at the wrong points and thinking, ‘I should not have left the roads. I don’t know why I left the roads.’ I couldn’t run away fast enough or my attention span dropped for a second or I answered a text and now I’m dead and that’s six or seven hours of gameplay that I’ve just messed up.”
Cavill reveals that while he was trying to relax while playing the game, he ended up getting frustrated. He kept on dying in the game at various points due to poor decisions, such as leaving the roads unnecessarily. These mistakes caused him to fail repeatedly, leading to hours of wasted gameplay.
It’s no surprise that the actor had to go through all these troubles. Everyone who has played The Witcher 3 has basically had the same experience, if not worse, in some situations! Still, it’s great to see that even Superman has the same issues that most of the gamers do!

Recently, CD Projekt held its latest earnings call, which might not initially sound exciting but has given us a number of updates on the studio’s next projects. It’s confirmed that the next game in the Witcher series is on the brink of entering production.
During the earnings call, the studio’s CEO Michal Nowakowski revealed that work on Polaris, the codename for the upcoming Witcher game, is progressing.
He added that the development team is on track to enter production “very soon.” This update comes after the announcement that the majority of CD Projekt Red was working on Polaris as of the FY 2023 earning calls back in March.
The upcoming Witcher game will be the studio’s next release, with a window of 2025 initially stated when the project was announced. However, the game will likely be delayed, considering the fact that the production hasn’t even started.
While we still don’t know much about the game, it’s already confirmed that Geralt, the star of the first three games, will return, but in a supporting role as his saga ended with The Witcher 3.
With that said, what would you like to see in the next Witcher game? Let us know in the comments below.
