British royal family news divulges that two decades ago Prince Harry was the suspected target of a kidnap plot. Because of that, police beefed up his security over fears Harry was almost kidnapped in Argentina during his gap year.

Did Someone Want Prince Harry?
Harry was 20-years-old when the alleged plot came to light at a polo ranch in Lobos, “60 miles from Buenos Aires, where he was staying as part of a visit in November 2004 to Argentina described in Cabinet Office records as his ‘ongoing education.’”
The Argentine government was informed by a local underworld figure about the plot and shots ended up being fired on that day after “The Security Ministry responded by sending a squad of 15 armed police officers to patrol the perimeter of the El Remanso ranch.”
Royal Family News – Harry’s Kidnap Plot?
Commentators found this old news sus with one writing: “This was 21 years ago when someone actually would have paid a ransom to get Harry back safely.
