The Marvel Cinematic Universe employs the talents of actors from all walks of life, but only a few manage to survive outside the superhero universe. Despite being as immensely famous as their Marvel characters, not all actors have managed to achieve the same level of acclaim in the industry in independent roles.

The American actor Don Cheadle has been in the film industry for a long time, and throughout his career, he has consistently delivered brilliant performances across different genres. Having several nominations and wins including an Academy Award nomination, Cheadle is also famous as James Rhodes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

While most Marvel actors like Tom Holland or Chris Evans have struggled to have impactful careers outside the comic book universe, Cheadle is one of the very few Marvel stars to have crafted a successful career for himself. And his latest film, Unstoppable is certainly a worthy addition to his filmography.

Despite starring in a supporting role as a coach Sean Charles in the biographical sports drama film, the actor has been receiving critical reviews for his phenomenal performance. Not only does he bring a nuanced performance but Cheadle also knows how to go to the depths of his character to bring the right emotions to the surface, whether it be playing a hardcore stoic coach or showing emotions.
