If Todd Howard doesn’t make a Fallout: Mexico featuring Danny Trejo, the post-apocalyptic franchise’s future might be doomed.
Over the years, we’ve seen tons of celebrities who have made their appearance in video games, but there are only a few who have gotten involved with a number of titles, with Danny Trejo being one such example.

The popular American actor has starred in a number of iconic films since the 1980s, but he’s also been a video game fan. We’ve seen a number of cameos from the actor throughout the years. However, it’s time for Trejo to give the Fallout series a try, as fans will be delighted.

We’ve seen Bethesda and Todd Howard exploring a number of locations in the Fallout world. Right from the ruins of Washington D.C. in Fallout 3 to the West Coast in Fallout: New Vegas, the post-apocalyptic franchise has taken us everywhere at this point. However, for some odd reason, Bethesda hasn’t touched Mexico in the series.
Seriously, a post-apocalyptic title set in Mexico has incredible potential as a rich and unique setting for the franchise. Gamers have been asking for such a title for years at this point, and now they believe Danny Trejo would be the perfect fit as a Ghoul in the game. It all started when the actor liked an art piece featuring Raul, which seemed to be based in a Mexican setting.
Bethesda can take a new direction in the series with a Mexico based game and introduce us to the mutated world that’s inspired by Mexican folklore. We could see a pre-war political standoff between the U.S. and Mexico.
Considering the potential behind such a game, it’s quite shocking that Bethesda hasn’t explored it yet. Even Trejo wouldn’t mind jumping on board for such a project as he has already voiced Raul in New Vegas!
Will Bethesda ever listen to the community?

As we’ve said before, gamers have been asking for Fallout: Mexico for years now, but Bethesda hasn’t said anything officially. It’s an incredible idea, but even if Howard and his team pick up on it, it could be years before we see the game.
Currently, Bethesda is working hard on Elder Scrolls 6. It’s one of the most anticipated RPGs in the gaming world, as we haven’t had a mainline Elder Scrolls title for more than a decade at this point. The game has entered production and might be released in 2026 as soon as possible.
After that, Bethesda plans to develop the next Fallout game. The Amazon TV series has generated quite a buzz, which may lead to the company fast-tracking the development, but there’s still no chance that it will hit the shelves before 2030. This means that if a Mexico-based title ever happens, it’s probably a decade away from materializing.
With that said, would you like to see a Fallout game based in Mexico? Let us know in the comments below.
