Although the Queen of Country is rich and famous, her holiday traditions are surprisingly relatable. While many people may have imagined something with glitz and glamour, Reba McEntire’s Christmas traditions are much more low key and honestly, I love her even more for it.
Reba McEntire’s Christmas Traditions
When asked how she and boyfriend Rex Linn would be spending their holiday season, the country music star did not hesitate to share. She spoke with E News, sharing the details of their festive plans, however it may not be what you expect.
“Rex and I will go see a movie,” she told the news outlet. She admits that her boyfriend loves films so they enjoy celebrating that way. Additionally, similarly to my family, they do their big celebration on Christmas Eve rather than Christmas Day.
Honestly, I think that is the way to do it. Christmas Eve is for celebrating and Christmas Day is for relaxing and enjoying the haul of goodies you got. She admits that they will go to the theater “first thing in the morning before the crowds hit.” After the movie, the duo participate in another one of Reba McEntire’s Christmas traditions. They enjoy their meals. Yes, I meant meals as in more than one. That is because the star shared that they have “lunch and supper and probably a midnight snack.”
Cuddled up watching a good film and then enjoying plentiful amounts of delicious food? Sounds like an epic holiday to me. For anyone wondering what film the duo will be watching, McEntire revealed that as well. She shared that they would love to see The Fire Inside. Which E News shares, ” Tells the story of Claressa “T-Rex” Shields who trained to become the first American woman to win an Olympic gold medal in the sport.”
