Throughout season 26 of The Voice, Reba McEntire, Gwen Stefani, Snoop Dogg, and Michael Bublé battled it out, hoping to build the perfect team. As the weeks past by, the number of contestants dwindled until only a handful remained. And just a few days ago, Sofronio Vasquez watched as he became the latest winner of The Voice. With NBC already preparing for season 27, it seems that Reba and Snoop Dogg will leave the show. And while fans loved their chemistry throughout the season, it appears that the pair will meet again thanks to NBC News Year’s Eve special A Toast to 2024.
Wanting to celebrate a new year, Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager are set to welcome some of the biggest stars on December 31 for a two-hour special. Kicking off at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on NBC, the special will not only feature Reba and Snoop Dogg, but other big names like Howie Mandel, Martha Stewart, George Lopez, Adam Lambert, and many more.
Outside of his work on The Voice, Snoop Dogg went international when he appeared at the 2024 Summer Olympic Games as a correspondent. And for Reba, she went beyond The Voice as she helmed her new sitcom Happy’s Place. Centered around Reba’s character, Bobbie, running a bar left to her by her father, the show reunited the country singer with Melissa Peterman, who worked with her on the hit show Reba.
Discussing getting the chance to work with Peterman again, Reba insisted, “We get to play off each other, which is wonderful. We have so much fun together and it’s just putting Bobbie in certain circumstances that she has to find a way out of.”

Not just loving her work with Peterman, Reba also praised the entire crew, declaring, “What I love is the camaraderie between all of the actors and the crew, the writers, everybody. We just have fun creating what we’re going to be filming on show night. And the writers are great. Kevin Abbott wrote for me on Reba, [her second sitcom] Malibu Country, and he is a genius. He knows my voice and I just totally love being Bobbie.”
While Reba might return to The Voice in the future, don’t miss her and Snoop Dogg reuniting one last time during A Toast To 2024 on NBC.
