đ„ Fallout 5 Announcement Just Dropped â And Fans Are Furious: âI Donât Understandâ Instead of excitement, the reveal left players confused, divided, and downright angry. From the setting to the style, nothing was what longtime fans expected. Is Bethesda making a bold move â or a massive mistake? đź The internet is exploding with reactions. See why fans are upset đź

Fallout fans are among the most patient of all, with barely any movement on a new game from Bethesda, really all theyâre left with is the massively multiplayer Fallout 76, or Amazon Primeâs TV show.
Thatâs all well and good, but fans really want a new single player adventure through the wasteland, but Bethesda has said themselves that it will be years before we see another Fallout game.
Essentially, Bethesda came out and said that they simply donât have the people to cover every project, which leaves them focusing on the most important games at that moment.
The developer is torn, because they want to make The Elder Scrolls VI, but they also wanted to release Starfield, and work on a new Fallout.
Of course, this is frustrating for fans, and the announcement that those fans will be waiting years for Fallout 5 left them feeling confused.
On Reddit, one fan said, âI know games are more expensive and definitely take longer to make, but waiting 10+ years for a sequel when most AAA gaming companies are taking in billions of dollars is extremely silly.â
To this, another user replied, âI don’t really understand why Bethesda doesn’t outsource more side projects like New Vegas. Surely they could’ve let a good studio have a dig at Fallout in between 4 and 5?â
Bethesda could consider Fallout 76 and Elder Scrolls Online their spin-offs nowadays, but those games simply donât appeal in the same way a single player game would.
This leads to frustration with fans who have stuck around for decades, with one saying, âWhat’s the point of making a sequel if the last game was 10 years ago and those players might not bother to come back any more?â
Sadly, we will just have to wait, and the reason given is understandable, even if it frustrates some.
