[BREAKING] PEARL ABYSS JUST NERFED THE DO HAVEN KEEP FARM! 😱🛑
Goodbye to the Sea Thieves Mask glitch! If you’ve been heading to Do Haven’s Keep to farm Artifacts, stop right now. The latest patch made all enemies stay “Friendly” even with the mask on. Attack them now, and you’ll tank your Contribution Points for nothing. 📉
BUT… a much crazier “Infinite Farm” has just been discovered in the Gameplay Settings, and it’s actually 10x faster. 🚀 It involves a hidden toggle called “Re-blockade Frequency” that literally forces the map into a state of PERPETUAL WAR.
We’re talking about clearing entire fortresses in seconds using a Dragon mount or the Mecha (with the Laser upgrade!), gaining back-to-back XP and Artifacts. Why walk when you can rain fire from the sky and hit your 100 Artifact cap for Kliff in record time? 🐲🔥
Ready to exploit the new “War Mode” before they patch this too? The step-by-step setup for the fastest Artifact farm in Pywel history is below! 👇🔥

The cat-and-mouse game between Pearl Abyss and its player base has reached a new peak this week. Following the silent “nerf” of the popular Do Haven’s Keep farming method in Patch 1.05, the Crimson Desert community has struck back by discovering a systemic exploit that turns the game’s “Re-blockade” mechanic into an infinite Artifact goldmine.
The Death of Do Haven’s Keep
For weeks, players utilized the Sea Thieves Mask at Do Haven’s Keep to trick friendly NPCs into attacking, allowing for easy XP and Artifact drops. However, internal changes in the latest update have rendered this method obsolete. NPCs now remain neutral regardless of the player’s attire, and aggressive actions result in a severe loss of Contribution Points, effectively killing the most reliable farm in the game.
The “War” Toggle: A New Farming Frontier
In a surprising twist, the new “meta” for farming doesn’t rely on a glitch, but on a built-in gameplay setting. Analysts at More Smashysnow have highlighted the “Re-blockade Frequency” option in the Gameplay menu as the key to endgame progression.
By switching this setting from “Stable” or “Conflict” to “War,” players can trigger a state where enemy factions retake liberated fortresses almost instantly. “By the time you finish clearing two or three locations, another four will have been retaken,” the report states. This creates a loop of continuous combat that far outpaces the efficiency of the previous Do Haven method.
Aerial Superiority: Dragons and Mechas
The true power of this method lies in the use of high-tier mounts. Unlike Do Haven’s Keep, which is a designated “No-Fly Zone,” the various fortresses across Pywel allow for full aerial combat.
The Dragon Mount: Currently the “S-Tier” choice for this farm. Players can use “Fire Breath” and sweeping aerial attacks to clear an entire fortress of enemies in literally seconds.
The Mecha (Laser Upgrade): For those focusing on precision, the Mecha with the Laser upgrade provides a high-speed alternative to wipe out enemy garrisons, though it lacks the sheer mobility of the Dragon.
The Path to 100 Artifacts
The goal for most hardcore players is hitting the cap of 100 Artifacts per character. While this method allows Kliff to reach the limit in record time due to his mount synergy, the process remains significantly slower for companions like Una and Damian, who lack the same level of destructive aerial support.
Pearl Abyss’s Dilemma
This “War Mode” farm presents a unique challenge for Pearl Abyss. Since the exploit uses intended gameplay settings rather than a bug, patching it would mean stripping away player agency over the world’s dynamic state. For now, the community is racing to maximize their Artifact counts before any “balancing” adjustments are made to the XP or drop rates during Re-blockade events.
As of today, the “War” setting remains the gold standard for anyone looking to max out their gear before the rumored “Abyss Expansion” later this summer.
