One crucial detail about Batman in James Gunn’s Creature Commandos alludes to the fact that Robert Pattinson will not be able to join the DCU!

Creature Commandos is a DCU project. Veteran director James Gunn fleshed out every detail and nitty-gritty bits of the show before it aired and so, the details are etched in stone. That’s bad news for Robert Pattinson’s Batman.

Or it could be good news for fans of Matt Reeves’ The Batman depending on how you view it. The gist of the discussion is that this crucial detail in Creature Commandos proves that Robert Pattinson’s Batman will not be joining James Gunn’s DCU.
Robert Pattinson’s Batman is still too young
Not that there are any age requirements for being Batman but with experience, Batman evolves throughout the DC comics as well as in movies and shows too. With that being said, Robert Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne in The Batman is not that old.

So how does age affect Pattinson’s ability to join James Gunn’s DCU? Well, it all comes down to the entirety of the DCU and what these individual details add up to. Creature Commandos naturally becomes the place to start.
Eagle-eyed fans spotted this important detail in Creature Commandos when a flashback involving Batman and Doctor Phosphorus was shown. According to the latter, he hadn’t been “touched like that” in 15 years (a totally normal thing to say).
Phosphorus was referring to Batman so we can deduce that Bruce Wayne has been active in Gotham as Batman for the past 15 years at least. If they do follow the cannon, Batman would be roughly 41 years of age while the present DCU takes place.
On the other hand, Robert Pattinson’s Batman is quite young compared to what the show suggested. So, it can be stated that Pattinson’s Batman will not be joining James Gunn’s DCU unless with a time machine.
So… Just in case anyone missed it – Another thing with DCU Batman. Phosphorus mentions how he hasn’t been able to be ‘touched like that’ for 15 YEARS.
This means that flashback scene when Batman takes out Phosphorus was around 15 years ago in the DCU, so he has been doing his… pic.twitter.com/QkQnK3UNQa

This isn’t the first time that people have talked about Matt Reeves and James Gunn allegedly merging forces for one spectacular Batman. Recently, another source boldly claimed this rumor to be false.
This source is a veteran director in Hollywood and it seems fairly certain that when he said that the DCU’s Batman is going to be different, he is going to be very different. After all, this source is the director of the upcoming DCU Batman film!
Even The Brave and the Bold director denied the rumors!
Andy Muscheitti is a director known for directing It, It Chapter Two, and The Flash. Muschietti, however, is also the director who is going to helm James Gunn’s DCU with his upcoming film The Brave and the Bold.

Based on the tale of Batman and Robin, The Brave and the Bold will introduce Batman to the DCU. With Matt Reeves hesitant about his Batman joining the cinematic universe, Muschietti revealed in a conversation (via Radio TU) that Pattinson’s Batman will not be joining the DCU.
Fans were happy about this news since Matt Reeves can continue his work on the Reevesverse while James Gunn can focus on his version of Batman. With so many proofs and the director of The Brave and the Bold saying it himself, it seems impossible for Robert Pattinson to be a part of the DCU.
On the other hand, Creature Commandos is doing great as millions of fans love the show. The series currently stands at a rating of 7.9/10 on IMDb and a whopping 95% on Rotten Tomatoes.
With more clues and details, Creature Commandos is available to stream on Max.
