Sony recently announced a lovely DLC bonus for God Of War Ragnarök, celebrating the franchise’s 20th anniversary.

It’s hard to believe we’ve been adventuring, and crushing enemies, with Kratos for so long, and fans of the latest instalment, God Of War Ragnarök, can celebrate in style.

Announced on Twitter, PlayStation showcased a few new weapon skins and a stylish look for Kratos.

The Dark Odyssey collection is a nod to an older style, utilising black and gold accents, and will be available to all players.

Fans are thrilled by this latest release, many of whom are excited to return to the game and enjoy these new looks.

“Time to replay GOW again!!!” exclaimed one very happy fan.

“20 years, damn. So many memories of rage quitting. Still gonna try the new looks tho,” comments another God of War fan.

The whole set is going down well with everyone, as fans clamour to celebrate the 20th anniversary.

As one Twitter user says, “Celebrating 20 years of epic adventures! The Dark Odyssey Collection sounds amazing!”

The collection is richly designed, draped in gold, and sparkling from every angle.

“That collection looks epic, can’t wait to see the updates,” expressed another player.

It wouldn’t be Twitter without legions of fans begging for a remastered collection of the original God of War trilogy, of course.

“DLC instead of remasters?” remarks this user, and they aren’t alone in their wanting a revisit to the classics.

Hopefully, this is on the cards at Sony and Santa Monica Studios. There’s still plenty of time to celebrate further – perhaps these skins are just the start of the festivities.
