Hogwarts Legacy fans are curious as to what DLC might be included in a rumoured upcoming version of the game.

Despite being snubbed at some major ceremonies such as The Game Awards in 2023, Hogwarts Legacy was a hit with Harry Potter fans and went on to become the best-selling game of that year and now fans are eagerly awaiting the announcement of its expected sequel.

“Hogwarts Legacy is an open-world action RPG set in the world first introduced in the Harry Potter books,” reads the description of the game, “Embark on a journey through familiar and new locations as you explore and discover magical beasts, customise your character and craft potions, master spell casting, upgrade talents and become the wizard you want to be.”

While Hogwarts Legacy 2 hasn’t been officially revealed, Warner Bros. has all but confirmed that it will be released at some point and it could be inspired by the live-action TV reboot by HBO.

However, before that time arrives, to capitalise on pre-HBO hype, it would make sense for Warner Bros. Games to re-release Hogwarts Legacy and judging by recent rumours, that is looking like a strong possibility and with it, new DLC could arrive.

“Hogwarts Legacy: Definitive Edition DLC on the way,” said Redditor LegacyDarling, kicking off the discussion on the thread following a report from Insider Gaming. “There is a rumour that new DLC is on the way with 10-15 hours of additional content. What are you hoping for and are you excited about?”

“Please give us new spells and companions. I wanna go with Ominus through the world and explore,” pleaded Rudra4.

“Maybe it’s just me, but I wish that it would add romantic relationships. It feels more real as your character grows up and starts developing crushes,” asked rb0915.

“We want a New Game Plus,” replied EarPuzzleheaded2403 with what is possibly the most requested feature from Hogwarts Legacy fans.

“If it’s true, I hope it has consequences based on whether you opened the repository or not,” said juustyuri. It remains to be seen if Hogwarts Legacy: Definitive Edition is real and what new content it may include but we’ll be sure to update you if that information drops.
