Ahead of their star-studded wedding this week, the soon-to-be groom, 61, and bride, 55, were spotted on Bezos’ $500 million superyacht named Koru off the coast of Europe on Sunday, June 22, partaking in lavish foam-filled festivities with their friends.

Wearing their swimsuits, the billionaire Amazon founder and Sánchez played around in foam that bubbled up on the deck in clouds of thick, frothy bubbles. Partygoers also bounced around giant blue, pink and yellow beach balls, and dove off the yacht to swim in the ocean.

Afterward, the group enjoyed a large dinner together.

It’s unclear if this party was to celebrate the couple’s upcoming nuptials — which Sánchez’s brother has likened to Princess Diana and Prince Charles’ extravagant 1981 wedding that was hailed as the “wedding of the century” — or if it was in honor of Sánchez’s son Evan’s 19th birthday that day.

Sánchez shares son Evan and daughter Ella with ex-husband Patrick Whitesell. She also shares son Nikko with ex-boyfriend Tony Gonzalez. Meanwhile, Bezos has four kids of his own. The entrepreneur welcomed three sons and one daughter with ex-wife MacKenzie Scott. In January 2019, PEOPLE confirmed was dating Sánchez.

It was on the same massive yacht in May 2023 that Sánchez first showed off her 30-carat, cushion-cut diamond engagement ring. The pair were photographed smiling together on the yacht docked near the Cannes Film Festival, not long after Bezos popped the question in the South of France.

The couple had two engagement parties, the first of which took place on Bezos’ yacht on the Amalfi Coast in Italy in August 2023.

Since getting engaged, Bezos and Sánchez have been in wedding planning mode. The pair will tie the knot in Venice, Italy, later this week.

In May, Sánchez celebrated with a bachelorette party at Lafayette’s in Paris. Among the guests wereKim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Katy Perry and Eva Longoria.

“The atmosphere was very relaxed and very Parisian,” a source exclusively told PEOPLE of the event. “It was a pre-wedding all-girl party for 13.”

At the restaurant, the women drank “espresso martinis and everybody got up and danced when Lauren asked for ‘Earth, Wind and Fire,’ ” the insider said. Their meal concluded with a surprise vanilla meringue cake for Sánchez.
