What comes after GTA VI?
Having been focused on its launch for so long, we’ve not really spared a thought about what happens once it’s here. Besides the obvious influx of sick days that will occur.
Still, once the hype has died down, it won’t be long before we’ll be eagerly awaiting the next Rockstar Games’ creation.
Not satisfied with theorising about GTA VI, Red Dead Redemption fans are now trying to figure out what the next Rockstar game will be.
Redditor joe_ollie909 asked gamers what will come next after seeing all of the recruiting Rockstar has done over the last couple of years.
They think that the publisher will return to creating two games at once rather than one big one, but not everyone is convinced.
In fact, some believe Rockstar will simply switch over to an online version of the new title to ensure it keeps going for years down the line.
User EldritchTruthBomb suggested as much when they said, “GTA VI Online forever.”
Others posit that remasters will begin being developed, as well as a new IP.
Some welcome the thought of remastered classics, while others long for new blood to be introduced into the mix.
“Please not a remaster,” commented GlendrixDK. “We need new games. Reboots maybe. A modern Midnight Club, Max Payne or Manhunt, would be awesome.”
There are even those who are still holding out for Bully 2, though, as several fans have already said, that looks increasingly unlikely.
Interestingly, hardly anyone mentioned Red Dead Redemption 3…
Little to no harmony can be found when discussions turn to Rockstar’s next title.
But we’ve yet to experience GTA VI, so maybe let’s focus on that before we start hyping ourselves up for another decade.
