Steam free RPG is one of the biggest open-world games of all time

If you want to claim a classic and beloved RPG on Steam for free, then you’re in the right place my fellow adventurer.

With many fantasy RPGs to choose from over the years, it can be difficult for even some of the best to stand out from the crowd. However, one RPG franchise that stands out more than most is Bethesda’s The Elder Scrolls.

The Elder Scrolls series has been around for decades with Bethesda launching the first entry, The Elder Scrolls: Arena, on PC in 1994. Since that time, the series has grown arguably better and certainly more popular with each new release.

Perhaps the most popular of which is 2011’s The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim which still has a devoted and passionate fanbase to this very day with the latest single-player version of the game available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Many fans were hoping that by now we’d have The Elder Scrolls VI to enjoy, but despite being announced in 2018, fans are still waiting for that day to arrive.

Thankfully, at least, whether it’s the likes of Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim or The Elder Scrolls Online, there is plenty of fantasy RPG goodness to keep us busy until Bethesda finally releases the sixth numbered entry in the series.
