Before you come at us for that headline, you know full well we’re not referring to The Elder Scrolls VI being released in 2025.
As much as we’d love to say that Bethesda is about to surprise everyone with that release, it just isn’t going to happen.
What is coming out next year is The Elder Scrolls Skyblivion.
You probably already know what this new experience is, but in case you don’t, we’ll walk you through the basics.
Skyblivion is Oblivion remade in the Skyrim engine.
See? I told you I’d offer a very basic overview.
But to simply describe it in this rudimentary way doesn’t convey how much time, effort, and creativity has gone into this project.
It’s the “size of a AAA game”, one which has taken “eyars” for a “full team” of developers to create.
Online user king_mo_of_metal420 said, “Fucking beautiful I cannot wait.”
On YouTube, another gamer commented, “At a loss for words. Can’t even describe how impressed, amazed and excited I am. I have the UTMOST respect for every single person working on this project.”
“This is an immense achievement,” posted @AvartiPlaysGames. “Hats off to the Skyblivion team. Can’t wait to play it on release.”
When specifically in 2025 is still unknown, which does make some fans worry that a delay will happen.
But we believe that even if such a hurdle should occur, it’ll be dealt with swiftly by the team.
In truth, regardless of whether this comes out on time or now, we’re just blown away by how stunning Skyblivion is.
“When a fan-made project hypes you more than any AAA game announcement in years. God speed guys, god speed,” @pinsonraphael4873 remarked, which captures exactly how we’re feeling.
We’re in awe, impatiently waiting for launch day.
