STOP DYING TO THE VAPORIZER! 🛸💀
You’re playing a dangerous game with the new boss, and right now, the Vaporizer is winning. 100% of squads are getting wiped because they don’t know this ONE “crude” secret.
Forget your legendary Wolf Packs for a second—the meta has shifted to something much cheaper and deadlier. If you aren’t baiting the shield with a specific $6 craftable, you’re just delivering your loot to the ARC on a silver platter. 🚨
Think you can hide in a building? Wrong. It’ll laser you through the windows. Think you can shoot the front thrusters? Waste of ammo. We found the only two methods that actually work before you get vaporized.
The 1% of Raiders who are actually extracting with the loot are using these two secret methods. Don’t be the next victim left in the ruins. 👇
🔥 MASTER THE KILL HERE:

As the ARC machines intensify their assault on the surface, a new tactical report from The Gaming Merchant has provided Raiders with a much-needed edge against the Vaporizer. The massive, laser-wielding ARC unit has been responsible for a record number of failed extractions this week, but new testing reveals that the boss’s greatest strength—its impenetrable shield—is also its biggest weakness.
The “Crude” Strategy: Baiting the Shield The most significant discovery in the new report is the efficacy of low-tier equipment. Testing confirms that the Vaporizer will activate its defensive shield when any projectile, such as a Crude Explosive, enters its proximity [00:23].
“The Crude Explosive is definitely the best [bait],” the report states, noting that they stack up to 10 per inventory slot, allowing Raiders to repeatedly force the boss into a defensive cooldown. Once the shield disappears, it leaves a window for high-damage weapons like Wolf Packs to strike without being deleted by the ARC’s defenses [01:21].
High-Impact vs. High-Fire Rate: Choosing Your Arsenal The community is currently divided between two primary combat philosophies for the Vaporizer:
The Heavy Hitter (Jupiter/Hullcracker): This method focuses on extreme damage per shot. Raiders must time their attacks to hit the Vaporizer’s underbelly to expose the core. However, heavy hits often trigger an immediate shield response, requiring a “shoot-and-wait” rhythm [05:22].
The High-Fire Rate (Equalizer/Tempest): Interestingly, the Vaporizer’s AI seems less likely to trigger its shield against consistent “chip damage.” This allows for a more sustained assault, though it requires the Raider to be more mobile to avoid the boss’s counter-attacks [07:06].
The Photocloak: A Non-Negotiable Survival Tool In the 2026 meta, the Photocloak has moved from an optional gadget to a mandatory requirement. With the ability of the Vaporizer to “lazy beam” through building windows, the Photocloak is the only reliable way to break line-of-sight and survive multiple-boss encounters [03:44]. The report warns against “Snap Hook shenanigans,” noting that the hook shares a cooldown with the cloak, often leaving Raiders vulnerable when they need to vanish most [04:02].
Aerial Mechanics: Thrusters and Grounding While many players have attempted to “ground” the Vaporizer by shooting its thrusters—a tactic effective against Rocketeers—The Gaming Merchant found this method inefficient. The Vaporizer possesses eight thrusters, and only destroying the rear units seems to impact its flight [06:14].
For those feeling adventurous, the Hornet Driver can bring a Vaporizer down, but the window to leap onto the grounded unit and destroy its core is dangerously small. “If you don’t manage to do enough damage, it’s going to fly back into the air… and you’re just going to hit the ground and die,” the report warns [02:11].
As the war for Speranza evolves, these findings are expected to shift the balance of power back toward the Raiders. For now, the message is clear: pack your Crude Explosives, keep your Jupiter steady, and never, ever stand still.
