After Michael C. Hall reprised his iconic role as the charismatic vigilante serial killer in 2021’s Dexter: New Blood, he returns as Dexter’s inner voice and narrator in the prequel series. The series takes place in Miami in 1991 as Dexter begins his career at Miami Metro PD. Dexter: Original Sin has already covered a few anticipated kills that were already established in Dexter’s lore. Another upcoming Dexter series, Dexter: Resurrection, is expected to be released in the summer of 2025 with Hall also slated to return. There have been several key deaths in Dexter: Original Sin, one of which has placed Dexter in some hot water.

How Can Dexter Avoid Getting Caught For Having Levi Reed’s Body & Killing Tony Ferrer?
He will likely pull out his Miami Metro credentials and pretend to be investigating the scene

Dexter will likely find a clever way out of his predicament with the police officer at the end of Original Sin episode 6. He will probably lie and say something like he got lost or he may have to pull his Miami Metro credentials if the cop doesn’t buy his “lost” story. Dexter has shown up at his own crime scenes early in the original series, so this could be the prequel series’ first example of that. It’s highly unlikely that Dexter will become a suspect but then again, it’s not entirely out of the question given how suspicious it is that he turns up in such a random place in the middle of the night.
