LAW & ORDER: OC TRAILER SLAMS LIKE A FREIGHT TRUCK – Stabler’s Back and It’s BRUTAL! 😱 You’re Not Ready for This! 🔥 Click for the Explosive Drop!

The new Law & Order: Organized Crime trailer hits like a truck

It’s a new era for Law & Order: Organized Crime, but it’s still the same Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni). In its upcoming fifth season, the Dick Wolf spin-off is now a Peacock Original. Yet when the show premieres with two new episodes on April 17, fans will find that Stabler is still relentlessly seeking justice, even at the cost of his own life. As a bonus, the premiere will get a special airing on NBC the same day (though the rest of the season will be streaming exclusive).

According to a synopsis from Peacock, the new season “explores the dangerous worlds of cross-border smuggling, high-tech domestic terrorism and a crime family intent on repaying Stabler for the injury he did them in Rome. As his worlds collide, Stabler will put everything on the line to protect the vulnerable and fight for justice.” As the Law & Order: Organized Crime fifth season trailer puts it, “The threat comes home.”

There’s a lot going on in this trailer—a “new player” who “don’t play by no rules,” an “outbreak of serial murders,” and of course a haunting specter from Stabler’s past. Requested to go undercover, Stabler continues to rely on his brother Randall (Dean Norris) to protect and care for his family. But who’s taking care of Stabler? He clearly needs protecting, based on the clip of him getting violently (and it appears deliberately) hit by a truck. We imagine our hero will find some way to recover from the near-deadly incident, both because he’s the star of the show and because his mom (Ellen Burstyn) warns him in the trailer, “Do not make me bury you.”

Law & Order: Organized Crime saw the departure of its seventh showrunner, John Shiban, midway through production of this season. Executive producer Matt Olmstead reportedly stepped in to assist production for the “last few episodes” of the 10-episode season. After the two-episode premiere on April 17, new episodes will drop on Peacock every Thursday. In addition to the Law & Order: Organized Crime fifth season trailer, the streamer also shared some first-look photos of the upcoming episodes. You can check them out below.
