Law & Order and Law & Order: SVU are once again teaming on a crossover episode. It’s set for Thursday, April 17 from 8-10 pm on NBC.

The two-hour event will see a mysterious phone call to Capt. Benson of the SVU that leads detectives to the scene of a brutal murder. When the SVU and the 2-7 uncover a pattern of rape and murder targeting marginalized women, Carisi and ADA Price team up to charge the suspect with multiple crimes.

Additionally, following the crossover event, Peacock’s “Law & Order: Organized Crime” will air its season premiere at 10 p.m. on NBC on Thursday, April 17. It’s temporarily taking Found’s timeslot, which will air on a special night, Monday, April 14 at 10 pm, then return to its usual Thursday 10 pm slot on April 24. Organized Crime will then shift to premiering all of its new episodes on Peacock.

This marks the third crossover for flagship L&O and SVU since 2022. Mariska Hargitay and Terry Serpico both appeared on a May 2022 episode of L&O, and the two shows later joined Organized Crime for a crossover event in September 2022.

Law & Order stars Hugh Dancy, Tony Goldwyn, Odelya Halevi, Mehcad Brooks, Reid Scott and Maura Tierney star.

Law & Order: SVU chronicles the lives of the Special Victims Unit of the New York City Police Department, an elite squad of detectives who investigate crimes of sexual assault, child abuse and domestic violence.

In addition to Hargitay, Ice T, Peter Scanavino, Octavio Pisano, Kevin Kane and Juliana Aidén Martinez also star.

This will be Law & Order: Organized Crime‘s first season on Peacock, following its move from NBC, for Season 5.

Christopher Meloni stars as Det. Elliot Stabler, who returned to New York after a decade abroad to rebuild his life following a devastating personal loss. As lead detective in Sgt. Ayanna Bell’s (Danielle Moné Truitt) Organized Crime Control Bureau, he works to dismantle New York’s most vicious and violent illegal enterprises while fending off dangers that often follow him home.

Season five explores the dangerous worlds of cross-border smuggling, high-tech domestic terrorism, and a crime family intent on repaying Stabler for the injury he did them in Rome. As his worlds collide, Stabler will put everything on the line to protect the vulnerable and fight for justice.
