Now that we are officially a week into 2025, the hype for Grand Theft Auto VI, which is set to launch later this year, is in full swing.
Not that it hasn’t been in full swing for the past decade, but go with me here.
With just a few-ish months to go until Rockstar finally launches the next instalment in the Grand Theft Auto franchise, a new leaker has appeared and this one has some interesting information about Grand Theft Auto VI’s level of detail.
Spotted by Anthony Garreffa over on Tweaktown, this leaker has taken to Twitter to reveal that GTA VI will have a highly interactive world as players head back to Vice City.
After taking part in a play-test, the user claims that the world feels “very alive” and “will make the gameplay even more next level”.
So much so that around 90% of Vice City will reportedly be interactive, even down to the debris and litter which will react to the player as they explore the streets.
With litter comes cleaners and GTA VI will reportedly include cleaning crews who will react to the damage you have caused. For example, if you cause a lot of obstruction on the roads, they will appear to clean up and prevent any traffic jams.
The world will be a lot more realistic, with construction crews working and making changes to the environment which will definitely be needed as players will reportedly be able to destroy the environment to a certain extent.
So if you want to aim a rocket launcher at the road, then you can expect a pretty big pothole to appear with real physics having been implemented a lot more than we have seen previously.
Last but not least, the leaker even mentions that Vice City cops will be a lot more useful this time around.
If they come across a dead body (that you have probably put there), they will soon put up crime scene tape and get to work on an investigation.
Of course, this is all speculation but it would make for an incredible game that we have just a few more months to wait for.
