
As reported by IGN, the Steam blog didn’t go into much more detail. There’s no release date or any information on how it’ll work just yet, only that Warhorse Studios wants to support players in being able to “create, tweak, and expand [their] medieval adventure” in Bohemia.
Official mod support has done wonders for allowing RPGs to flourish long after their developers move on. Skyrim and Fallout 4 continue to thrive with the Creation Club, while more recently, Baldur’s Gate 3 implemented official mod support on PC and console ahead of its final patch, and we’re already seeing entire custom campaigns start development that will no doubt keep the game relevant for years to come.
What Else Is In Store For Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2?

Official mod support isn’t the only thing that Warzebra Studios has cooking. It recently unveiled an ambitious 2025 roadmap for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
We can expect a string of free updates in the spring, followed by three paid expansions throughout the rest of the year.

While there isn’t official mod support yet, you can still, of course, download mods from sites like Nexus.
Already, we’ve seen mods that make your shoes indestructible, give Henry facial hair, and make other characters like Hans Capon playable. The real litmus test for its community, however, will be how quickly it adds CJ and Witcher armour sets.
