Marvel Rivals Season 1 has arrived, making Moon Knight an absolute menace. Gamers want to nerf him in the same way which makes Scarlet Witch useless.

Even though it’s just been a month since the release, it’s clear that Marvel Rivals is a game that’s here to stay for years. Developer NetEase Games has recently dropped the highly anticipated Season 1 update into the hero-shooter, and gamers are absolutely loving every second of it.

Since Marvel Rivals is a live-service game, NetEase can make various balance changes to ensure that characters don’t wreak havoc in matches. For example, developers have nerfed Hawkeye and Hela as they were simply too strong. However, now gamers believe that NetEase needs to take a look at Moon Knight and nerf his ultimate.

With Season 1 in Marvel Rivals, NetEase nerfed many popular characters to the ground while also buffing certain characters. Rock bottom picks such as Rocket Raccoon are now absolutely dominating the meta, thanks to these balance changes.

On the surface, this change seems quite small. However, the Scarlet Witch mains know how bad this can turn out to be. If you’re unaware, Scarlet Witch has an ultimate, which is deadly and can instantly eliminate anyone.

However, the problem is that she screams at the top of her lungs before unleashing her ultimate and immediately alerts opponents who make it a priority to kill her.

While it remains to be seen how NetEase will handle Moon Knight’s current dominance in the meta, the studio is doubling down on bringing incredible cosmetics and skins to the game.

In a shocking announcement on Twitter/X, NetEase has revealed that the Advanced Suit 2.0 from Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be arriving in Marvel Rivals on January 30. Gamers are hyped about the reveal as Yuri Lowenthal voices Spider-Man in both titles.

Advanced Suit 2.0 skin features the iconic red and blue color scheme with the large white spider symbol that everyone associates with Insomniac Games’ version of Spider-Man!

While gamers can’t wait to purchase this skin, few are worried that it might be too costly, just like MCU skins in the shooter. If you’re unaware, many legendary skin bundles in Marvel Rivals cost 2,220 Units, but MCU versions are priced at 2,600 units.
