Legolas may be a hero, but he’s one that’s racked up a pretty high kill count.

I don’t want to justify or condone violence, but it was all in the name of destroying the One Ring.

Going about working out the character’s kill count is no quick task.

Thankfully for us, YouTuber Auralnauts has already done the legwork.

In a nine-minute video, the content creator tallied and detailed every single kill reaching a final count of, drum roll please, 177.

It’s a pretty high number but fans don’t mind too much.

“I think it’s safe to say Legolas could have simply walked into Mordor,” one viewer joked.

“Moral lesson, don’t mess with Legolas,” added another. Too right.

I’m now wishing we had a kill count for every member of the Fellowship, to see how each compares to one another.

Technically, Lord of the Rings did confirm the Fellowship’s most useless member years ago, as brutal as that may be.
