The Morning Sprout Newsletter

A planned daily briefing on American growth, built for a five-minute read over coffee.

The Morning Sprout is the newsletter we are planning for GrowNewsUS: a short, vetted briefing on US agriculture technology, clean energy, scaleups and grants, delivered early each morning. This page explains what it will be and, just as important, where things stand today.

Where things stand

The mailing list is not live yet. No newsletter has been sent, and we are not collecting subscribers on a server. If you type your email address into the sign-up form on this site, it is saved in your browser on your device only, as a waitlist note to yourself. It is not transmitted to us. When a list launches, we will announce it on the site and ask you to confirm before sending anything.

What it will contain

We plan a daily edition arriving around 6 to 7 AM Eastern, designed to take about five minutes to read. Each issue is intended to include:

  • A short lead on the most important story of the day.
  • A handful of vetted stories across AgTech and food, clean energy, heartland startups, AI and manufacturing, markets and venture, and policy.
  • A grants and programs note, always pointing readers to the official source for verification.
  • A closing item on what to watch next.

The names Daily US Growth Alert and Executive Dispatch refer to editions of this same newsletter, not separate products.

Our pledge

We will not send spam, we will not sell or rent your address, and we will not hand it to advertisers. We plan one-click unsubscribe in every email. Content will follow the same standards as the site, with clear labeling of illustrative material and no investment advice.

What you can do today

  • Use the RSS feed to follow new stories in your preferred reader.
  • Use the Saved feature to keep stories you want to read later; they stay on your device.
  • Email [email protected] with questions or ideas for what the briefing should cover.

We are not announcing a launch date, because we would rather ship it properly than promise it early. Thank you for your patience and your interest.

Editors will treat the newsletter as an extension of the site rather than a separate product. Stories will be selected for usefulness to founders, operators, investors and farmers, written to be skimmed on a phone, and checked before they are included. When a story is an illustrative launch-edition scenario, the briefing will say so plainly.
